The Representative Office of the German Adult Education Association invites to International Conference “Adult Education in reaching Goals of Sustainable Development”, which takes place on 5-6 December, Minsk.
Thanks to cooperation of different subjects, Republic of Belarus takes leading positions in realization of GSD in the region. That’s why the team of DVV International especially appreciate the opportunity to hold the International Conference “Adult Education in reaching Goals of Sustainable Development” in Minsk. During the conference the participants will discuss the role of formal and nonformal adult education in reaching sustainable future, its contribution into the realization of National Strategy of Sustainable Development of Republic of Belarus.
Format of the conference:
The first day will be dedicated to reflection and recontemplation of several important milestones in the history of development of adult education: 100 years of folk high schools, 50 years of DVV International and 10 years of DVV International in Belarus.
During the second day there will be presented the main materials on education and adult education in the context of GSD on global and local levels, as well as group working and discussions, presentations of international and belarussian experience.
Approximately 100 experts on adult education and GSD from Belarus, Europe and Asia will take part in the conference. The main participants in the conference are representatives of partnership organizations of the Representative, which have been the partners of DVV International for 10 years of its activity in Belarus.
The participation of partners and friends of DVV International in Belarus is accomplished through invitations. Nevertheless, those of you who did not get the invitation, but connected with adult education and would like to discuss the presented questions in the wide circle of experts, can additionally register to take part in the conference until 29 of November 2019 inclusive. We pay attention that the organizers keep the function to select the participants and their reports.
