Tender for advocacy mini-projects (on promoting the principles of lifelong learning) announced

By January 5, 2018, applications for participation in the tender for the implementation of 4 mini-projects on promotion (advocacy) of the principles of lifelong learning are accepted. The tender is carried out within the framework of the project "<link belarus projects learn-to-act>Learn to act" aimed at contributing to the realization of the right to lifelong learning and civic participation. The project is funded by the European Union and co-financed by DVV International.

TENDER OBJECTIVE:

Promoting the ideas of non-formal and civic adult education in the regions, establishing a dialogue with the representatives of local and regional authorities, contributing to the realization of the right to lifelong learning and networking.

ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS should be NGOs and other non-profit organizations registered under the law and carrying out activities on the territory of the Republic of Belarus.

TOPICS:

  • promotion of ideas and principles of non-formal and civic adult education, lifelong learning;
  • popularization of the right to education for all, including vulnerable population.

TARGET GROUPS:

Vulnerable population groups: people with a low level of education that leads to poor competitiveness on the labor market, residents of remote areas with limited access to educational services, people in difficult life situations.

ACTIVITIES:

  • Researching the needs of the target group;
  • Preparing and conducting joint public and information campaigns, cultural events, forums, festivals, events, including with the use of the "new media" and active involvement of the target group;
  • Development and publication of information materials (books, brochures, films, etc.), as well as activities to distribute information materials among target groups;
  • Development of district / regional strategies for the development of adult education and lifelong learning (including annual plans on the development of adult education with the prospect of co-financing from the state budget), petitions, recommendations, policy papers aimed at promoting changes within existing and emerging state and regional programs;
  • Creation of dialogue platforms for NGOs, public bodies, vulnerable population groups;
  • Measures meant to strengthen the institutional capacity of the involved NGOs

DURATION OF MINI-PROJECTS: no less than 4 and no more than 6 months.

AMOUNT OF FINANCING:  up to 6 000 Euros.

NECESSARY STEPS:

  • to carefully read the Tender Regulations available here;
  • fill in the application form in Russian or Belarusian (project application with a financial plan annex can be downloaded here or requested via email pristrom@dvv-international.by);
  • send the electronic project application to pristrom@dvv-international.by with the remark

The results of the tender will be made public in the period of January 25-31, 2018.

The organizers of the tender reserve the right to make changes to the activities planned and the budget of the selected mini-projects.
