On the 27-28 of September, 2019 DVV International representative office in Moldova, representatives of partner organizations in the field of civic education, youth and adult education, have been participated in the workshop. Participants were able to test the approaches and influences of World of Communities and develop a list of possible areas of use of this gaming tool in working with their target audience.
This is the first Ukrainian cooperative strategy in the field of social simulator. This means that game steps are as close to real life as possible and the participant in the game can only win through cooperation and interaction. Regardless of age, geography, gender, education and profession, the game develops the skills necessary for any person in the 21st century.
During the 2 days of simulation and playing, the participants got acquainted and practiced the effectiveness of the format of a serious board game as a tool of civic education and adult education. Also the participants established closer contact for possible cooperation in the future and were able to take a fresh look at the needs of their target groups.
