On February 29, 2020, the DVV International Moldova team and our partners participated in a board game "Keep Cool!", organized by the organization EcoVisio. Keep Cool, is an international climate change game, which is offered in the online and mobile versions.
The goal of the game is to "promote the general knowledge on climate change and the understanding of difficulties and obstacles", and "to make it available for a board game and still retain the major elements and processes".
In ”Keep Cool”, from three to six players representing the world's countries compete to balance their own economic interests and the world's climate in a game of negotiation.
On the one hand, this game was tested by our team and our partners because some of them have included ecological education courses in the 2020 projects, and on the other hand, we were continuing this year to use the game as an important tool and form in diversification of adult education field.
The “Keep Cool!” board game was created by Klaus Eisenack and Gerhard Petschel-Held of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research and published by the German company Spieltrieb in November 2004.
