Main goal: development of critical thinking skills to eliminate the possibility of manipulation among people of "third age" by teaching them media literacy, by consolidating the efforts of NGOs and libraries. The project is realized by NGO "Center Podilliia-Socium"
Target groups: representatives of NGOs that carry out active steps to work with people of the third age of in Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, Poltava, Mykolaiiv, Lutsk (total - 7 people); librarians of cities Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, Poltava, Mykolayiv, Lutsk (people of old age).
The project will engage a group of trainers to work with people of the third age on media safety (seven community activists and representatives and seven representatives of libraries); The project will conduct trainings on media literacy for older people in 7 cities of Ukraine. Also community activists will create media areas for the people of the third age at the City Library.
