During 2019 A.O. The "Positive Initiative" will continue the collaboration with DVV International Moldova and will implement a new project. The aim of the project is to create a model of the Center for the education of prisoners in addition to the prison institutions and to create a therapeutic community in order to improve the quality of life of the prisoners and to increase the level of psycho-social reintegration.
Having experience in adult training activities, especially regarding the professionalization of disadvantaged people in society, the Humanitarian Association "Christian Philanthropy" in Orhei will continue to implement adult training projects in the current year.
The project "Successful communities - through education" is a project implemented by the Tighina Psychologists Association (APT) that will take place in Causeni district in the following target localities: Cirnateni, Cirnatenii Noi, Taraclia, Ciuflesti, Firladeni, Hagimus, Ursoaia and Causeni town.
In Moldova, the History Competition was announced for the first time in 2017 within an interregional project, supported by German Federal Foreign Office (Auswärtiges Amt). The purpose of the competition is to encourage secondary school and high school pupils (14-18 years old), as well as students in the 1st and 2nd year in college or university (19-21 years old) to explore subjects in the field of local history and to identify unknown local heroes.
The project contributes to the development of the International Prison Education Network in the Eastern Partnership and Central Asia in Armenia, Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine and contributes to the observance of the human rights to education in prisons.The project is aimed to increasing the number of NGOs working in prisons and strengthening their capacity to work with prisoners and former prisoners, organizing innovative educational programs for them.
