On 18 – 21 June, Kyiv hosted DVV International Summer Academy. This year our annual Academy gathered selected colleagues from DVV International, experts and trainers from all over Europe and Central Asia.
On 10 – 15 December, Kyiv hosted DVV International Winter School. The aim of Winter School was to develop a model for strengthening the capacity of Adult Education Centers (AECs) in Ukraine, Belarus and Moldova. The model would provide orientation in developing the strategies, serve as quality assurance tool
On 21 – 28 August, Riga hosted DVV International annual Summer School. The aim of Summer School was to introduce key national stakeholders with the core theoretical concepts and international praxis in adult education and lifelong learning that would strengthen institutional development in Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus.
Who is an adult educator? Which competences does an adult educator need? In which spheres and institutions does an adult educator work? Which differences and common points of adult education programs exist between the countries of the Eastern Partnership region, European Union and Central Asia.
The Third Regional Summer Academy of the Eastern Neighborhood supported by representative office DVV International in Ukraine took place near Kyiv in the village Glebovka from the 27 of June to the 4 of July. The main purpose of the event was the formation of a common theoretical and conceptual platform

The first Summer Academy for Adult Education was organized by DVV International Ukraine from June 23 to July 1, 2012 in a picturesque area of the Crimea - Alushta city. To participate in the Academy was attended by representatives of organizations working in adult education from different countries:
