On March 25-26, 2021 DVV International country office in Moldova invited the community of experts, partners and other stakeholders to a Conference on Adult Learning and Education in the Context of SDG and LLL- state of art in global perspective and developments in the Republic of Moldova. The event was dedicated ten years of activity in the country.

The convocation was conducted online and brought together over 60 participants in a webinar alternating presentation of concepts and practices, followed by discussions, reflections and recommendations for development. The local partner-organizations and educators emphasized challenges of the Adult Learning and Education (ALE) sub-sector. International experts shared the idea that, despite progress made during the last decade on international level in lobbying for ALE, the area still needs further understanding and support. Countries sign international agreements and commitments, but they also should create structures for cooperation with leadership from highest level and also should support creating sustainable institutional structures to ensure access of all to qualitative and diverse education.
