From 28 October to 7 December 2021 DVV International Moldova organized a training course for the trainers for the ”B.P. Hasdeu” Municipal Library, Chisinau.
Curriculum globALE (CG) is a cross-cultural, output-orientated core curriculum for training adult educators worldwide. It was developed jointly by the German Institute for Adult Education, Leibniz-Center for Lifelong Learning (DIE) and DVV International, the Institute for International Cooperation of the German Adult Education Association. In five modules, it describes the relevant skills needed to lead successful courses and provides guidance on their practical implementation.
During 14 sessions the trainers participated in 5 modules of this course and were involved in both theoretical and practical learning sessions.
Modules 0 and 1: Familiarising participants with the Global Curriculum programme and creating a solid basis for the successful delivery of training programmes.
Module 2: Valuing the motivational, psychological and social particularities of adult learning.
Module 4: Familiarisation with a range of training methods in adult education and their application to achieve optimal learning success in the target group.
Module 3: Identification by participants of key communication concepts, typology, communication techniques.
Module 5: Implementation of the planning, organisation, performance and evaluation stages in the professional activity cycle of an adult trainer.
