The learning outcomes of 2017 are continuing until now in 2018 and will continue at least for the seniors' group set up in 2017 in the village Rosu within the project " Education on Human Rights - the key element in the development of a responsible citizen", implemented by the NGO team “AZI” and supported by DVV International Moldova in 2017 from the BMZ funds.

The elderly acquired basic rights, learned to apply them, to ask for them. Thus, in 2017 they created a choir that perform at various activities in the region of Cahul and other localities. With obtained courage, they made a request to the town hall asking for national costumes and they got them! They searched for other funds from economic agents in the locality, from the diaspora – and they got more funds!

Historically, the village Rosu did not have a House of Culture. Cultural events were organized wherever was some free space. The last place where social-cultural activities were organized remained devastated. The group of seniors took certain actions and addressed to the local town hall. Consequently, the Local Authorities of v.Rosu have made official inquiries to the Government, to the Cahul District Council, and for the year 2018 about 550,000 lei was allocated from the state budget for the repair of the building. Moreover, for the year 2019 approximately 300,000 lei is planned for the interior repair and purchase of chairs for the House of Culture.

The Mayor of the village Rosu Nicolae Savilencu said: "Of course there are important issues to be settled, like local roads, water, sewage and there are many other things to do in the village, but if at the moment for the citizens the House of Culture is a priority - then I have to listen to the voice of my citizens".
