We are pleased to announce the release of our new publication: Local Policies and Practices in Adult Learning and Education – Best practices from Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, and Ukraine, edited by Heribert Hinzen.
This publication explores how adult learning and education (ALE) is shaped at the local level, highlighting the essential role of municipalities, community learning centres, and partnerships in expanding access to lifelong learning. It brings together practical examples and policy insights from across the region, as well as additional perspectives from Europe, Asia, and global initiatives. The publication showcases successful approaches to strengthening ALE systems, supporting communities, and fostering inclusive and sustainable development.
A valuable resource for policymakers, practitioners, and researchers, it offers inspiration and guidance for advancing adult learning in diverse contexts.
This publication was developed within the Continental Exchange Project 'Europe', which is financially supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
