On August 15-17, 2025, an intensive training event took place in Kyiv, bringing together managers of Adult Learning and Education (ALE) Centers from various regions of Ukraine.
The goal of the training was to provide participants with up-to-date knowledge and practical tools for creating and developing social entrepreneurship in the field of adult education.
The training program covered key topics such as:
- legal aspects of social entrepreneurship in Ukraine;
- forming a vision, mission, and a socially valuable value proposition;
- business process automation and digital tools;
- scaling strategies and fundraising opportunities;
- and social impact assessment.
The ALE Center leaders and managers worked in teams, completed practical tasks, and presented their own business ideas under the mentorship of a professional team of trainers. At the end of the training, each participant presented a brief business plan focused on integrating a social mission.
The event was held as part of the project "Strengthening the Professionalization of Adult Learning and Education Centers in Europe", aimed at enhancing the institutional capacities of ALE Centers, supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ).
