Handbook "Cooperation of libraries and museums of Melitopol as a resource for the development of AE"

On 3 March the Museum of natural history of Melitopol Region hosted a presentation of final Handbook of a project "Cooperation of libraries and museums of Melitopol as a resource for the development of adult education".

Svitlana Boyko, Deputy Head of City Major and Mykhailo Semikhin, Head of Department of Arts and Culture participated in presentation and agreed that completion of this project is a new beginning for cooperation of cultural and educational institutions for the sake of Melitopol Region community.

Sergiy Pryima, Project Director and Natalya Ivanova, Project Coordinator highlighted main milestones and Project accomplishments. Participants also had a chance to see the documentary by Andriy Dovzhyk named “Museums and Libraries of Melitopol Region: Restart” about challenges, expectations and successes of everyone who became part of this project. 

The Handbook includes recommendations for development of cultural and educational services proposed by professional trainers and success stories of librarians and museum workers that took part in micro projects. Three hundred of copies were disseminated among Departments of Culture of Regional City Administrations of Ukraine to share the story of success and experience that will help to strengthen cooperation ties across Ukraine.

The project "Cooperation of libraries and museums of Melitopol as a resource for the development of adult education" is a part of the interregional project "Replace walls with open windows"  supported by the Institute for international cooperation of German Association of people's universities (DVV International) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany since August 2016.
