The project was aimed at raising the general cultural level, build cultural dialogue, drawing attention to the need to establish social justice and peace in the Sumy region, as it is traditionally one of the most poor and depressed regions in Ukraine, he was the least oriented international cultural programs. Therefore, the base rate was made on the youth of Sumy region, particularly on college students, because of their willingness to learn and change behavior.
To participate in the workshop "Creating a social video as a means of conflict resolution" invited students from Sumy activists, as well as universities of Shostka city and Konotop. All other project activities were focused primarily on participation in youth unexpected result was the presence at film clubs and rock festivals of the older generation.
Mass Media of Sumy region were involved in the coverage and promoted at every stage of the project, as well as experts at the second event - "Media coffee."
It was planned to hold a rock festival as a festival just for beginners Sumy rock bands, but later the project team concluded that increasing the target audience and increasing interest in the event among residents of the region should be invited head-liners - known Ukrainian group. Thanks to good management and at their own expense the festival was invited band "The Eighth Day".
Results of the project were presented to local authorities and regional mass media on roundtable "Youth cultural initiatives as a means of reconciliation in Ukrainian society."
