Main goal: to provide local communities of Poltava region by knowledge and skills that are necessary for effective participation in community and political life for self-organization and their sustainable development.
The project is realized by Poltava Branch of the Social Service of Ukraine.
Target groups: trainers and representatives of NGOs at Poltava region; representatives of local governments, local activists, students, citizens of villages and cities of Poltava region.
The project will develop a training course for trainers on civic education "Mechanisms of participatory democracy. Development of projects for local communities". The Project will engage a group of trainers for civic competence training and will hold a study for public figures of villages and members of village councils, deputies, active citizens, students, representatives of public organizations in use of the mechanisms of democracy to participate in drafting development plans of their communities; It will also create a media product - the social video to promote civic education.
