DVV International announces a Journalistic Competition «The right for education: what can be changed in prisons?»

The competition is organized within the framework of «Actively for prison education 2.0» project, that is aimed to increase the number of non-profit organizations working in penitentiary institutions; enhance their capacity to work with prisoners and released one; organize innovative educational programs for these target groups, as well as improve the interaction between a society, media and journalists in order to highlight the role and importance of education at re-socialization process for convicted and released people.

The project was developed and implemented by DVV International, together with partner organizations from Armenia, Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine. Those are members of the International Penitentiary Education Network in the Eastern Partnership and Central Asia countries with the financial support of the German Foreign Office.

In Ukraine, the project is being implemented by DVV International in partnership with «FREE ZONE» nonprofit organization.

Terms of the competition:

The competition is held from April 01, 2020 until August 31, 2020.
