On November 17, over 400,000 Belarusian students annually join the International Students' Day. Among them there is a special category - those who receive education while being in correctional facilities.
Also joining this day once again we want to emphasize the right of every person to education. It is very important to help those people for whom it is difficult to get education for some reason. And it is also necessary to help graduates to use the abilities they have acquired affectively in the chosen field.
Historical note: International Student Day was established in 1941 at an international meeting of students from countries that fought against fascism (London) in memory of the Czechoslovak patriotic students who died during the Second World War.
