The Russian and Belarusian versions of the Manifesto for adult learning in the 21st century are now available

The Russian and Belarusian version of the Manifesto for Adult Learning in the 21st century are now available on the official site of DVV International Belarus.

Published at the end of 2015 by the European Association for the education of adults Manifesto has already become a tool for change. It sets objectives for creating a Learning Europe: a Europe that is able to tackle the future positively and with all necessary skills, knowledge and competences.

The Manifesto is targeted at European, national and regional policy makers to learn about the benefits of adult learning. It can also be useful for European education providers in advocacy work.

Manifesto for Adult Learning was selected as a reference point for the work within the VI Festival of Non-Formal Education that is to be held on 7-9 July 2016. The 6th Festival of Non-Formal Education is conducted within the project “Learn to Act” (financed by the European Union and DVV International), designed to support realization of the right to life-long learning and participatory decision-making processes. The Festival traditionally serves as a demonstration ground and a platform for professional interaction, exchange of experience, discussing the development prospects among providers of non-formal education and other interested parties.
